Crisis simulation – Military planning exercise

🗺️ How do you plan a large-scale military operation during a major geopolitical crisis? What are the tactical and political considerations to keep in mind, and which unexpected surrounding factors might play a role?

The EDN stepped into the minds of military advisors and explored such a crisis scenario in a hands-on exercise, under the guidance of Michael Benhamou co-director of OPEWI – Europe’s War Institute.

Our participants mastered a lot of new knowledge and experience diving into this concrete scenario, constantly challenged and responding to new inputs over the course of the workshop.
