EDN 🇪🇺 first seminar 🙀
Dear members and friends of the EDN ✋,
➡️ As we discussed 💬 with some of you at La Fabrique Défense in January, one of our major goals is the facilitation of an European exchange 🤝 on defence and security topics through personal encounters.
➡️ As a result, we have developed a workshop in Paris to discuss different topics in the field of European defence and security.
➡️ To facilitate a productive conversational atmosphere, the number of participants will be limited to 20 persons. We therefore kindly ask you to provide a meaningful short presentation of your motivation to participate and see the later confirmation of participation as binding.
➡️ The EDN is proud to announce 📣 a diverse program for its first workshop in 2022 as follows ⤵️
Day 1 – Afternoon
Until 3:00 PM : Arrival of the Guests from different European countries
3:00-6:00 PM : Individual exploration of Paris or Joint visit of Museum
7:00 PM : Get together – Aperitif and joint Dinner
Day 2 – Morning
10:00-10:30 AM : Presentation of EDN and the Steering Committee
10:30-11:00 AM : Short introduction of every participant and his or her background
11:00-12:00 AM : Keynote Speech and discussion – French Presidency of the European
12:00-1:45 PM :Lunch Break
Day 2 – Afternoon
1:45-2:15 PM : Keynote Speech Lieutenant Colonel Sascha Nötzel (OF-4, Deputy Defence Attaché, German Embassy)
2:15-3:15 PM : Questions and discussion on Franco-German Defence and Security
3:15-3:30 PM:
Short Break
3:30-4:30 PM : Group Work (Mixed groups) on the current state of the Franco-German cooperation
4:30-5:30 PM : Presentation of the Results
5:30-6:00 PM : Conclusion of Day 2
6:00-8:00 PM : Return to Hotel/Paris visit
